ArchDaily’s job is to improve the quality of life of the billions of people who will arrive in cities during the next decades by providing inspiration, knowledge and tools to the architects who will have the challenge to design for them. Software Developers at ArchDaily are core participants in every technological decision made in any of our platforms, either internal or public. They also participate in every step of the application’s lifecycle.

Profile

We are looking for a Frontend Developer, with experience in CSS and JS to join one of our sub-teams, working together with 2 backend developers, 1 product manager and, in some cases, 1 UX designer.

These are some must-have skills:

  • Responsive CSS (cross-browser)
  • CSS preprocessors (like SASS)
  • Understanding about rendering and re-layout processes
  • Vanilla JS, jQuery (cross-browser)
  • Any of these JS frameworks: React, Vue or Angular
  • Basic usage of npm or yarn
  • Proficiency in Photoshop or Sketch
  • Assets life cycle
  • Some HTML engines, like Haml, Slim or ERB.
  • Git Flows

Nice-to-have:

  • Basic knowledge about Ruby and the Ruby on Rails framework
