WHO we’re looking for:
Looking for a versatile candidate able to perform Big Data and Data batch loads confidently. The candidate must maintain existing infrastructure while participating in the development of the replacement parts. Currently there is a 1.4 billion transactions repository in MongoDB which serves data to different platforms. The candidate is responsible for ensuring everything works seamlessly. The candidate will also be a key member of the development of a new repository that is being created to comply with global standards.
Among other responsibilities, the candidate must continue to work in other fresh applications developed in AWS platform following an event-driven architecture: mainframe data lake, real time loans ingestion, monthly report generation, ingestion of audit logs (6TB/year), etc.
Key technologies:
Java 8+, Scala 2.12+, Node.js 8+, Spring Framework, Spark, Hadoop (HDFS), MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AWS (S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, RDS), Docker, bash scripting, Bamboo (CI/CD).
