We are an American start-up, adding connectivity and automation to the marine transportation industry (specifically bulk commodities). We are building a platform connecting brokers, shipowners and cargo-owners, and we are looking for a strong team with the same vision of creating value in an exciting industry.
Required:
Strong back-end programming capabilities. We have built a platform in Node.js and Angular, and therefore we want a developer with strong experience in Node and at least basic knowledge of Angular. At first, they will be working to fix bugs in our platform, and long-term they will be adding more modules/functionality to our platform.
Ability to work well with others (contractors, code reviewers, other developers, team members) and to understand business requirements as given by non-developers and convert them to software / development needs.
Strong English skills are essential because the founders are American!
We are an American-based company and understand the importance of having content workers. As a small startup (less than 10 people) we can also discuss the possibility of equity / stock options. Work schedules are very flexible as long as you can get it done on time.
