Full-Stack PHP Developer in Expat Housing Network

We are looking for a full-stack web developer who specialises in web applications using the Laravel Framework in PHP.

Our current project is a tool to help our clients in their relocation process, managing the visits for house rentals and communicate directly with their assigned agents.

We are looking to hire a freelance developer to work for approximately 20 hours a week.

Keep in mind our time zone is "Central Europe", and the meetings will have to adjust to that.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web-based PHP applications
• Build web applications and collaborate with the UX team
• Write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code that is consistent across the applications
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
• Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort
• Git version management
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development

Skill Requirements:

• Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for at least 2 years
• Working experience building applications using HTML/CSS/Javascript
• In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework
• Experience in MVC pattern frameworks
• Hands on experience with MySQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design
• Software testing (PHPUnit)
• Creative and efficient problem solver

• TypeScript or Angular experience
• Ionic Framework app development
• Database security
