Job functions

We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our Tech team to create and maintain system integration and internal and public APIs to create an easy, beautiful, flawless, secure and solid systems for all our users and customers around Latam. The Backend Developer being responsable of building a technically perfect and optimal API, Integrations, Deployments, Tests, among others. that have to support thousand monthly active users and clients. If you are a creative problem solver and pro-active person who is hungry for a new adventure, an incredible startup is waiting for you!

Architect, design and develop critical features, integrations and backend APIs.
Be a part of the full development cycle - develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve.
Actively participate in code design and code reviews.
You will get your hands dirty with python, bash and cloud services (GCP).
Grow and expand your expertise and PAGO46’s technology stack.

Main Skills

4+ years of software development experience with a key focus on modern web applications and cloud services
Hands on experience with api design, flask, pyhton/django, GCP.
Getting things done attitude.
You have a passion for clean and beautiful code, with an eye for simplicity and pragmatism.
You firmly believe in lean and agile development.
You understand that quality is not assured solely by the QA engineer, but by the team. Automated testing is part of your development cycle.
You believe in cross-functional teams and know that responsibility does not end with deployment.
Good communication skills and you use them to share knowledge among your peers.
You will make sure that the platforms keep up with high standards of scalability, stability, security and performance.
