Blameless is an end-to-end Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) platform that enables industry-leading reliability practices so engineering teams can deliver customer happiness with consistency and ease. Our platform helps engineering teams set and monitor SLOs, orchestrate incident response, identify contributing factors, and create a culture of learning and improvement across organizations. Blameless, based in San Mateo, is backed by Accel and Lightspeed Ventures.

We're looking for talented full stack engineers to help us with our next big projects that include leveraging APIs, real-time streams and more to help us craft intuitive user interfaces for our SRE platform. You will be building engaging user experiences and help shape the direction of our product to delight our users.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a major projects from inception to production
  • Experienced technical lead and anchor for teams, providing guidance and mentorship
  • A passionate full stack software engineer with past 5+ years experience, solid working knowledge of React, Typescript, with advanced knowledge in one of these languages Python, Golang, Node.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB
  • Experience selecting and integrating 3rd party applications and services
  • Unit/integration testing experienceExperience shipping high-quality code in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong understanding of user experience principles and empathy for our users


Bonus Requirements

  • Understanding of distributed systems and how to optimize for scalability and reliability
  • Kubernetes management and orchestration software utilities (Helm, Pulumi, Terraform)
  • Experience working with queue based systems and some familiarity with CQRS
  • Domain driven design architecture, and single responsibility concept
