We are seeking someone with a Full Stack Web Development background to join our fantastic team in Santiago. As an Agile Developer in ServiceRocket Apps, you will build apps that extend the business value of enterprise platforms such as the Atlassian, Salesforce and Workplace ecosystems with a focus on interactive bots.You will continuously collaborate with the product managers, fellow developers, partners, and customers, and be accountable for the team’s shared success.For this opportunity, we are seeking developers that have experience converting business requirements into well designed solutions; who know how to work with customers to understand their business and technical needs; and design and develop applications that consistently delight and exceed expectations.

Key responsibilities

You will work with other members of the ServiceRocket team to delight our customers by being fully engaged with their goals and by their side as they create new business value with our technology.

Responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business applications built with a variety of technologies and frameworks.
• Contribute to engineering efforts ranging from planning through execution & delivery to solve complex engineering problems in the development lifecycle of our solutions.
• Manage your project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions.
• Create and deliver appropriate feature documentation and communication regarding process changes to impacted employees.
• Partner with Design and Product Management to define and deliver the right solutions for ServiceRocket’s Workplace customers.
• Participate in code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure a high level of code quality and usage of appropriate design pattern.

Technical Competencies Required

• Understanding of and some practical experience of web programming (e.g. CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript) and design principles (e.g. MVC, responsive design, reactive programming).
• Exposure to front-end template technologies (e.g. JSP, FreeMarker, Liquid, etc.).
• Exposure to development tools (e.g. Git, Maven, IntelliJ, Selenium, Spock, Docker, etc.).
• Knowledge of Agile development framework and techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD, etc.).

If you have these as well, then you’d be ahead of the game…

• Hands-on Agile development experience.
• Have a love of good design.
• Have experience with or a desire to learn DevOps tools such as Docker, Terraform, and AWS.
• Able to travel overseas on occasion (Malaysia, Chile, Australia, USA).
