QA Analyst Automated Tester in Hyland

This position is under the Hyland division LawLogix. LawLogix has two main software products - Edge and Guardian. This role will be supporting Edge, which is an Immigration Case Management system used nationwide in the United States of America. Our challenge is to revamp our Edge product, which has caused a need for an additional QA Analyst - Automated Tester. Our products are growing, so our team is too. Hyland values teamwork and collaboration, which is important to this role. You will work closely with Developers in our Chile office, as well as Developers and Testers in our Arizona, USA location. Automation experience is valued at Hyland, and past experience in Selenium will be helpful for the projects this person will be working on.

Overview
The QA Analyst assures project meets quality standards by planning, designing, and executing testing within multiple small projects or a single complex project.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and assists with creating test plans, data, procedures, and manual and/or automated scripts
• Participates as an observer in formal reviews of business requirements and application designs
• Consistently has input to test coverage based on requirements and design specifications
• Writes & reproduces accurate software problem reports
• Executes manual and/or automated test scripts for multiple or complex projects
• Consistently performs testing and research for multiple or complex projects & retests as necessary; Reviews and reports complex test results
• Identifies test issues and/or creates test data on multiple or complex projects
• Consistently participates in production verification and validation
• Works on moderately complex assignments or multiple phases of a project
• Works under general direction
• Participate with others on customer calls
• Knowledge and experience in setup, administration, implementation, upgrade and troubleshooting of relevant technologies and systems
• Research and implementation of relevant technologies
• Completion of relevant technical or testing certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent professional experience
• Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write in English
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience
• Experience in automated testing with Selenium and/or Angular Karma
• General business knowledge
• Demonstrated software testing background
• Good understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning
• Applications/technology knowledge or related experience
• Ability to execute automated and/or manual functional or nonfunctional tests and report results
• Ability to use test automation frameworks and tools to automate manual tests
