We are Belvo, a financial API platform for Latam that enables any company or developer to access and interpret their end-users' financial information. We are turning the rich and diverse Latam financial ecosystem into a set of developer-friendly tools and APIs.

We’re a highly-technical, passionate and driven team. We have offices in Barcelona, Mexico City and São Paulo and some of us work remotely.

We are tackling a very challenging problem: connecting fintech innovators with legacy financial infrastructure. We strive to go beyond the limits of what is possible today and to do so in an elegant and developer-first way.

Our tech stack:

  • We're building our platform using modern technologies, putting the focus on reliability and long-term maintainability
  • We primarily use Python on the backend. We use battle-tested technologies such as Django, and we are heavy users of Python's asyncio for some parts of our stack
  • We use Javascript, Vue.js and Sass on the frontend.

Your challenge:

  • Become an expert on Belvo’s Open Finance solutions portfolio, both from a technical and a product perspective
  • Manage client technical issues from their first symptom to their eventual resolution, communicating with our clients and internal stakeholders in a timely manner throughout the process
  • Deeply investigate complex technical issues and bugs post implementation and help developers use our products successfully with world-class support
  • Quantify an issue’s scope and severity and identify root causes in order to solve or escalate
  • Work as part of the Customer Success team throughout client’s lifetime but collaborate closely with the Engineering team in day-to-day
  • Author and maintain customer-facing knowledge base articles to help improve the self-servisablity for our clients
  • Collaborate with Belvo’s Product team to provide client feedback and assist in roadmap development

You can be part of the gang if:

  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant Software Developer role in a fast-paced environment
  • Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Proven ability to work with external stakeholders and clients under tight deadlines
  • Client-first attitude with a strong sense of empathy
  • Experience with API development platforms like Postman or Swagger
  • Detail-oriented. You code and execute so others can work with your code and the things you implement and drive
  • You are passionate about developing a thriving developer community with best-in-class technical support
  • You are adaptable, enjoy fast-paced environments and thrive when you have to multitask
  • International experience and thrive in a multicultural environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Spanish

Amazing if:

  • Fintech, developer-first API tools and SaaS past experience
  • Strong programming expertise in Python
  • Relevant programming knowledge in other languages such as Javascript, Java, PHP, Ruby or Go
  • Fluency in Portuguese, both written and verbal
