Overview:

Join the ADvendio team to maintain and improve the technologies that house our customer facing website(s) and knowledge base to associated Salesforce integrations. We are looking for someone who can take full ownership of the security, speed, plugin updates, and integration setup for each platform. Job functions

WordPress Administrator

  • Proactive security maintenance, monitoring and cleanup for our company website.
  • Uptime monitoring, diagnosing and fixing any problems causing website downtime.
  • Website performance audit and speed optimization that is Google recommended.
  • Manage all theme and plugin updates on a monthly basis.
  • Lead any ad hoc web development and plugin integration requests.
  • Maintain a clean staging environment including backups and restore as required.
  • Manage all communication with plugin developers as required.
  • Troubleshoot with our hosting provider and maintain communication with them.

Internal Salesforce Admin

  • User Handling (created users, assign Permissions)
  • Automate Processes (declarative Tools)
  • Basic customizations
  • Organise and conduct internal training and hold our wiki up to date

Qualifications and requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience working with WordPress.
  • Proficient English writing and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, common configurations, quirks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • The ability to write and edit custom HTML and CSS, and comfortability with JavaScript.
  • At minimum, basic ability with the use of PHP for WordPress (but the stronger the better)
  • An understanding of the underlying technologies behind general web development on the LAMP stack.
  • Familiarity with WordPress hosting environments and configurations.
  • Experience making basic DNS changes, implementing redirects, and assessing website performance issues
  • At least 3 years of professional experience working as a Certified Salesforce Admin
