Work side-by-side with team members on the creation and implementation of functional, engaging mobile apps for the Vacation Rental market. What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Vacasa Guest Division to encourage continued innovation in our channel distribution strategy by listening to the business requirements while challenging the technical restrictions from several partners. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable understanding requirements from different internal stakeholders in a fast-paced company and diving into the technical details from big players like Airbnb, Booking.com, or Vrbo in order to propose new approaches to accomplish Vacasa's goals in terms of listing distribution. It will be a key factor also the alignment with the development team; therefore, the person might lead some of the Sprint ceremonies.

What you’ll do

• Understand the current listing go-live and update flow for the different channels and propose changes and improvements to streamline the processes and improve listing up-time
• Support the channel issue diagnosis which becomes Jira tickets for the dev team to build both quick wins and long-term solutions
• Take ad-hoc requests, your knowledge, and ideas from stakeholders and use all of your product management magic to fuse them together in the backlog
• Run some of the Sprint ceremonies: standups, retrospective, grooming, etc. for the channel teams
• Act as an expert and evangelist for our channel distribution systems, tools, and technologies

• Fluency in both Spanish and English is strongly preferred as you’ll be working with a development team in Santiago, Chile, and a stakeholder team based in the United States.
• 2+ years of experience as a software Business Analyst or Product Manager
• Proficient in JIRA/Confluence or similar tools
• Experience as a business analyst working directly with development teams following an Agile scrum methodology with a knack to gage the teams' ability to execute effectively
• High customer service orientation. You’ll be working side by side with the Marketing team, getting their requirements and discussing solutions with them
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience leading Agile scrum ceremonies and driving properly their outcomes
• Ability to map end-to-end complex processes with several actors in there and find out weaknesses and failures
• Ability to dive into the data, comfortable with advanced Excel Data manipulation, or SQL preferred
