Wheel the World is a social startup with the purpose of making the world accessible. By building a cutting-edge model of accessibility data, which extracts, organizes, and displays on www.gowheeltheworld.com, we allow people with disabilities to find and book accessible travel experiences including hotels, tours, and activities with the accessibility information they need in the most amazing destinations in the world.

Design Intern

Your Mission

To contribute to take Wheel the World to the next level. You will be a key element to establish design as a way of thinking to get meaningful solutions to real problems. We want you to challenge the status quo, be prepared for constant changes and functions because if we want to make the world accessible we have to give our 110%.


  • Design graphic pieces for social media and events
  • Design graphic pieces for several teams (onboarding, WTW Academy, Partners)
  • Create mockups of new projects
  • Blog photo edition
  • Develop social media campaigns with the Marketing Team
  • Organize WTW photos and videos
  • Design presentation templates
  • Contribute to WTW Brandbook
  • Contribute to project Accessibility Guides

This position is for you if

  • Advanced level of English
  • You are passionate about making the world accessible
  • You just love design and you understand the importance of being user-centric
  • You know collaboration is the key to success
  • You have the right attitude to educate people about accessibility, inclusion and disabilities
  • You are humble, accepting your vulnerabilities because it’s the way to grow
  • You don’t accept the world as it’s imposed
  • You are creative, autonomous and data driven
  • You are willing to learn new technical skills, programs, ways of thinking, and ways of doing things

Required Technical skills

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator

Nice-to-have technical skills

After Effects/Premiere
