We are Belvo, a financial API platform for Latam that enables any company or developer to access and interpret their end-users financial information. We are turning the rich and diverse Latam financial ecosystem into a set of developer-friendly tools and APIs.

We’re a highly technical, passionate, and driven team. We have offices in Barcelona, Mexico City, and SΓ£o Paulo, and some of us work remotely.

We are tackling a very challenging problem: connecting fintech innovators with legacy financial infrastructure. We strive to go beyond the limits of what is possible today and do so in an elegant and developer-first way.


Our tech stack:

  • We're building our platform using modern technologies, putting the focus on reliability and long-term maintainability.
  • We primarily use Python on the backend. We use battle-tested technologies such as Django, and we are heavy users of Python's asyncio for some parts of our stack.
  • We use Javascript, Vue.js, and Sass on the front end.

Your challenge:

  • Ownership of the hiring process from internal briefing, Jd’s, sourcing, screening to negotiation to attract the best talent: tech, product, biz, etc.
  • Well verse in recruitment process as well relevant employment legislation as well as develop and execute outside-the-box research strategies for our hiring needs in multiple areas simultaneously while managing high volume of data
  • Proactively work with the hiring manager and the people team to manage priorities, compiling reports and anticipating blockers in order to get to results.
  • Able to work in ambitious international environments and comfortable with the unknown
  • Participate in recruitment events, such as career fairs, prepare info package, etc.

This position may be for you if:

  • 3+ years of experience in tech recruitment (can be a consultancy/ headhunting)
  • Proven working knowledge of technology, technical roles and technical skills as well full recruitment process.
  • Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams
  • Experience maintaining high volume of sensitive information and building scalable structure around data
  • Experience partnering with recruiters and hiring partners across different offices
  • Experience in recruitment platforms, social media recruitment, etc.
  • Experience in establishing and delivering KPIs and have a demonstrable track record of professional success
  • You are logical, data driven, analytical with a can-do mentality
  • You are adaptable, enjoy fast-paced environments and thrive when you have to multitask under tight deadlines
  • Articulate and clear in all forms of communication (written and verbal)
  • Open to learn and are interested in understanding and deepening your knowledge in all company areas.
  • You approach new topics and challenges independently and proactively
  • Extremely high attention to detail and methodical in how you work
  • International experience and thrive in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Spanish or Portuguese

Amazing if:

  • Knowledge of ATS
  • Familiarity with HR recruitment KPIs: Time-to-hire, time-to fill, etc.
  • Experience working in Latin America
