Job functions

Recruiters at TECLA are essential for our network to grow and for professionals to find out about what we offer. In a nutshell, recruiters are in charge of presenting potential job opportunities to members of our network. In addition, they are in charge of explaining to new and existing members the benefits that come with joining our network, both in terms of job opportunities and career growth resources. Recruiters are succeeding when they present the right opportunity to the right candidates, and get those candidates interested in learning more about opportunities.
The main duties for recruiters revolve around growing our network of members and getting candidates interested in TECLA’s job opportunities. Among other things, recruiters will:
  • Analyze profiles, resumés, and other applicant information to determine job-candidate fit
  • Present job opportunities to current TECLA members and get them interested in talking to hiring managers
  • Present job opportunities to external candidates and get them interested in talking to hiring managers
  • Share the benefits of joining TECLA’s network with potential members
  • Get top professionals to join TECLA’s network in order to receive future job opportunities
  • Work in tandem with accounts team and hiring managers to make sure jobs have a good amount of applicants at all times
  • Respond to questions from candidates about opportunities
  • Always be learning and be willing to share knowledge with other recruiters on the team
  • Suggest potential improvements to Sourcing process

Qualifications and requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience working in sales, tech talent acquisition or recruiting at tech-related company or agency
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with G Suite or Microsoft Work tools such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Advanced spoken and written English
  • Experience in fast learning environments and the ability to learn quickly
  • Proven communication skills
  • Basic understanding of software development process and technologies

Desirable skills

  • Experience with LinkedIn Tools
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience in sales or business development
