About the role
The AI Computer Vision/Machine Vision Engineer will develop novel AI-driven object recognition and video analysis components supporting object, image, and action recognition in multiple domains with a heavy emphasis on pose estimation. This is a remote, full-time consulting position.
Role scope
  • Design, implement, train, and improve new and existing AI Computer Vision algorithms
  • Analyze and curate appropriate image and video datasets to support recognition tasks
  • Set up test and evaluation environment for image processing and machine vision applications including data collection, processing, and annotation
  • Collaborate with engineers to identify and leverage the latest best practices around image processing, machine vision, and machine learning
  • Select and tune the appropriate algorithm, models, and techniques to given situations, problems, and issues
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis and presents results in a clear manner
  • Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information

Requerimientos del cargo

Requirements for the role
  • Proven work experience as an AI Computer Vision Engineer/Machine Vision Engineer or similar role
  • Expertise in one of the major AI libraries (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Open.ai)
  • Pose estimation, prefer MediaPipe
  • Python expertise, with at least basic object-oriented python experience
  • Object detection for bounding boxes, semantic and instance segmentation
  • Recurrent Neural Networks with LSTM
  • Multidimensional neural networks
  • Tuning neural networks
  • Automated preparation and organization of training and test data
  • Experience with Linux and GPU-accelerated AI
  • Familiarity with OpenCV and similar frameworks
  • Experience with developing computer vision AI systems targeting object/feature recognition for single images and motion/activity recognition for video sequences
  • Excellent communication skills
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, IT, or related field of study or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience as an AI Computer Vision Engineer/Machine Vision Engineer
