Who we are

We're a small team on a mission to help people reclaim their financial data from the banks. We believe providing access to better financial insights and tools improves people's lives, so we're taking money matters into our own hands. We built Copilot because we got tired of waiting around for someone else to do what we always knew was possible.

Our product is a personal finance management app that people love using. Copilot takes advantage of machine learning to deliver powerful, hyper-personalized finance data insights to help users effortlessly understand and manage their spending, budgeting, and investing.

Job functions

We are looking for an iOS Software Engineer to help us empower our users to better understand their finances. In this engineering role, you'll work alongside the Product and Backend teams in order to implement features that make our users’ financial data more accessible and useful. At the end of the day, we're looking for someone who will provide our users with the best user experience possible.

This position suits someone with a combination of strong technical and communication skills, and a desire to always be learning something new.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product team to define and implement new and upcoming features
  • Maintain and improve performance and quality of the iOS app
  • Implement unit and UI tests for new features to maintain and improve reliability

Qualifications and requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience developing for iOS/Apple platforms
  • Solid understanding of the app and view lifecycles for iOS
  • Experience with UIKit and the Swift programming language
  • Team player who is able to manage time independently.
  • Professional yet personable chat and email etiquette.
  • Outstanding written communication skills.
  • Desire to grow with the company and expand your role to include additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Meetings will be in English, so a medium/high skill is required.

Desirable skills

  • Experience with Firebase/Firestore.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems
  • Experience leading a small engineering team (architecture, mentoring)
