Job functions

At Nicasource, we are looking for an Atlassian Administrator. This Administrator will be working with multiple teams to support their use of the different Atlassian products. Our ideal candidate has a self-directed approach with a high degree of initiative to investigate and resolve issues.

The candidate will work closely with the team leads of IT and IT support, Product Management Office, and the fundraising programs including direct customer support to the client's Staff. To be successful in this role you will need to exhibit a strong desire to learn and understand all aspects of the company’s operations and be able to interact directly with other departments.

Functions:

  • Configure, manage, and enhance Jira and Confluence tools, including native functionality as well as researching, testing, and implementing plugins.
  • Devise, test, and deploy integrations between Atlassian products and other internal/external systems.
  • Evaluate current configuration of JIRA Work Management to identify opportunities for stability with the ecosystem it operates within.Act as scrum master for teams working on projects based around the Atlassian products.

Qualifications and requirements

  • 2+ years of working experience with Atlassian Cloud products
  • Experience in the administration and configuration of Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
  • Experience with Configure settings (System/ Advanced settings)

    • Issue Type Schemes
    • Workflow schemes
    • Field Configuration schemes
    • Group Schema Settings
    • Membership Schema Settings
    • Permission Settings
  • Excellent English speaker: C1 English level minimum

Desirable skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous knowledge of implementing Scrum or any other agile methodology.
    • Experience as Scrum Master is a huge plus
  • Understand permission structure with Azure AD and Atlassian Access'
  • Atlassian Certified.
    • Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator for Data Center and Server
    • Atlassian Certified in Managing Jira Projects for Data Center and Server
    • Atlassian Certified System Administrator
    • Confluence Space Administrator Pro Skills Badge or Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator for Data Center and Server
