Full-Stack Web Developer in Logistyx Technologies

Logistyx TME (Transport Management Execution) is a SaaS solution for global parcel shipping.

The Rate Engine is a core component of TME. It makes it possible to find and compare diverse carrier services and choose the optimum for each shipment.

We are looking for a full-stack web developer to help us maintain and improve the tools that both our customers and ourselves use to manage the Rate Engine.

You will join the Rate Engine Team in Lima, Peru.

You will be focusing mainly in our Engine Room web application, used by both our customers and ourselves to manage the Rate Engine data (rates, surcharges, restrictions, zones, etc).

The Engine Room was built about 13 years ago using the ASP.NET Web Forms technology with VB.NET. Your first goal (short-term) will be to help maintain this system.

Your second goal (long-term) will be to help re-build this system using the ASP.NET Core Razor Pages technology (not MVC) with C#.NET.

To help maintain the current Engine Room web application you will need experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, VB.NET, C#.NET and SQL Server.

In the future, to build the next version of the Engine Room, you will need experience with ASP.NET Core Razor Pages (not MVC), HTML5 and CSS3.

It is also important that you read and follow the Microsoft C# coding conventions and the Microsoft .NET naming guidelines.

Finally, you will be in constant communication with developers from Logistyx HQ in the United States, so advanced English (both spoken and written) is absolutely required.
