• Performs tasks in all phases of the development cycle with little or no technical supervision.
• Appropriately assess problematic situations to gain adequate understanding of problems involved and assumes the responsibility of delivering complex tasks on time and in scope within the team’s plan.
• Takes a leadership role when working with peers and coaches junior and semi-senior developers/analysts (depending on the case).
• Attends conference calls and exchanges emails with clients.
• Performs medium-high level coding tasks.
• Designs and codes complete small software modules.

The functions to be performed depend on the seniority obtained at the end of the process and the project in which the person will participate.

• Intermediate to Upper English skills.
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience working with the last versions of Java as the main programming language and familiarity using functionalities like Lambdas and Java Streams.
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate, MyBatis).
• Experience in developing applications using at least one popular framework (Spring, Hibernate, Play, JSF).
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience with Microservices
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, and Gradle.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery development processes using tools like jenkins or bamboo.
• Experience with cloud technologies and platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
