WHO we’re looking for

We are seeking a Senior API Developer with hands-on experience in defining, developing and providing the operational support service such as monitoring, health and hygiene, and overall availability of the API product offering for critical components of API platform based on a microservices architecture.

WHAT you’ll be doing

  • Provides technical support to API development teams and other technical teams such as incident management, infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues related to the API Platform in different environments
  • Provide maintenance/break fix support for performance enhancement/code fix in case of production defects
  • Setup Security models and policies for consumers and producers of API and catalog assets
  • Setup distributed as well as embedded API gateways with various load balancing topologies
  • Deploy API Definitions & Implementations, Policies and Certificates in different environments of IBM API Connect and Mule runtime environments
  • Upgrade the API Infrastructure using the API Connect and MuleSoft in different environments
  • Setup API Analytics for consumption through various channels including ELK and Kafka stack
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to implement CI/CD processes to support secure, scalable, and maintainable releases in a highly regulated environment

WHAT you bring



  • Developing, testing and maintaining highly available, real time, distributed Java Microservices using Springboot
  • Spock Test Framework
  • Jenkins Pipeline
  • REST and Microservice architecture
  • Oauth security
  • GIT / BitBucket
  • Understand implementation of cross-cutting logging, audit, security and JSON message validation for APIs
  • Experience in modeling an API, its resources as well as its data model (in JSON format) and documenting the model using Swagger
  • Cloud-native development and deployment technologies including Kubernetes and OpenShift
  • Familiar with concurrency
  • Prepare technical and procedural documentation
  • Works with team member in areas such as gathering requirements, designing APIs and supporting production deployment activities, etc.
  • Implementation of complex integration solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline
  • Knowledge of Agile principles
