We are growing fast and seeking an hands-on Automation Engineer to build, test, and maintain automations for new customers. This role sits at the intersection of customer success, development, and quality assurance, helping us scale automated solutions across diverse industries.

Project scope
You will collaborate directly with customers to understand their workflows, translate requirements into automation logic, and demonstrate and test workflows on Autoworklet’s platform. You will write Python code to configure automation logic, integrate APIs, and monitor performance. You will partner with internal teams to improve deployment efficiency and scalability, ensuring reliable operation for fast-growing customers.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate directly with customers to understand their workflows and map processes onto the Autoworklet platform.
  • Translate customer requirements into automation logic and configuration using Python and platform features.
  • Demonstrate, test, and validate automations with customers to ensure expected outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts, integrations with APIs, and data workflows.
  • Monitor automations post-deployment, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for reliability and performance.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to improve deployment efficiency and scalability.
  • Document solutions, provide knowledge transfer, and support customers during rollout and onboarding.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a technical role, with hands-on automation or software development experience.
  • Strong Python programming skills and practical experience with APIs, scripting, and software testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and workflow design abilities, with a track record of delivering reliable automation solutions.
  • Experience leveraging AI coding tools, including for code generation and prompting.
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) and strong collaboration abilities.
  • Comfortable working in customer-facing roles and thriving in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, CI/CD practices, and debugging at scale.
  • Familiarity with data integration, ETL concepts, and API design.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving customer requirements and provide proactive technical guidance.
