Back-end Developer (PHP) in Queritel

Figozo by Queritel is a mobile Orders & Sales Platform designed to get small businesses ready to sell online and locally in less than 5 min.
Backed by a team with a profound knowledge of the retail industry of over 17 years, Figozo was built from the ground up to meet the needs of today's entrepreneurs, putting the smartphone at the center of everything, reshaping the way customers and businesses interact with each other.
Currently we are launching a refreshed version of our app. We are looking for a super star backend developer to join our team to help us make our apis (built in PHP) more robust and scalable.

• Ask questions and learn.
• Code like a ninja. Everything should blend in, following the team’s standards.
• Code primarily in the latest version of PHP available using the latest packages.
• Collaborate with the different areas of the company to define requirements, design solutions and solve problems in production systems in a methodical way.
• Code the best solution, the one that is easy to understand, elegant, clean, and simple.
• Participate in different instances of software projects: daily meetings, Sprint planning, etc, together with the project team.
• Work through JIRA tickets by reviewing them and consulting the rest of the team on the strategy used to resolve it.
• Active participation on code reviews and in the general development cycle.
• Be aware of new technologies and methodologies.

Today, all developers work on different features such as creating new modules, developing new features and scaling our product to the new countries where we are arriving.

The epics and stories will be assigned sprint by sprint according to the preferences and abilities of each one. We are seeking to enhance various modules and we believe that it is always good for developers to be able to focus on different projects to enhance learning and comprehensive knowledge of the platform.

• English (intermediate) (The development team is speaks spanish and english)
• Degree in Systems, Software or Computer Science Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using PHP technology.
• Experience with PHP.
• Experience with PHP Frameworks.
• Experience with MySQL or another database engine.
• Experience with RestAPI.
• Agile methodologies, Git.
• Unit Tests and Integration Tests.
• Composer.
• Knowledge of PSR standards.
• Motivation to learn new technologies.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Bold, persevering and willing to share knowledge to work as a team.

• Experience with Flutter
• Experience building ecommerce / ordering platforms
• Experience integrating payment apis
• Experience with marketplaces
