REACT is a research team with members at both the Department of Computer Science of the University of Chile and the Department of Informatics at the Federico Santa Maria Technical University. We study how children, young adults and teachers learn how to program and apply computational thinking to solve everyday problems.
We are evaluating the implementation of the Plan Nacional de Lenguajes Digitales, a program designed by the Ministry of Education to introduce computational thinking in the classroom. As part of this project, we are looking for a developer in order to create a web app that takes as input several CSV files with data about the Plan Nacional de Lenguajes Digitales, and generates a set of stats/indicators that will be shown on a dashboard that will be used by public servants at the Ministry of Education.
Proven experience in web app development. Frameworks / tools that need to be used in this project: spring-boot (archetype will be provided), PostgreSQL and Vue.js. Must have a technical or university degree (Programmer, Ing. Ejecucion or Ing. Civil en computacion/informatica).
Desirable experience with following tools: git, Jenkins, MOQ, PowerMock and SonarQube.
Participate in the research we are carrying out as part of this project.
