The engineer will work on developing new features, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and managing the full development lifecycle using a JavaScript stack. They'll be responsible for migrating existing functionality, adding new features, and deploying on a HIPAA-compliant platform. The engineer's work will be foundational for the product's growth and possible future team expansion.
Looking for a very senior, product-oriented FS engineer with little need for guidance, and:
• Database management skills
• Security, authentication, and authorization expertise
• Ability to structure RESTful APIs with proper semantics
• Experience building production-grade software
• Proficiency in JavaScript stack: Node.js, Express, React
• Familiarity with Postgres and TypeORM
• Knowledge of CICD and GitHub Actions
• Ability to work with design frameworks and have good UI/UX sense
• Experience with HIPAA, SOC2, and High Trust compliance
• Capable of breaking down high-level requirements into epics and stories
• Comfortable with the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work asynchronously
