Full-Stack Developer in Ursa Group

Ursa is a Quant Lab that uses statistical and mathematical models, machine learning and other techniques to infer the behavior of financial systems and develop strategies that capture competitive advantages which are operated through computational algorithms.

We are currently developing our own automatic trading platform to execute our state of the art strategies through brokers in Latam and the US.

You are a talented senior software developer that will take on the responsibility of developing and implementing solutions that empower our trading algorithms and improve our clients' experience.

Your first challenge will be the development and implementation of an automatic trading platform to execute our strategies in real time through brokers in Latam and the US, working neck to neck with the R&D, Operations and Product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Work independently to design, code, debug and deploy robust software solutions for internal and external use.
• Ensure that your code meets the highest quality standards in the industry.
• Setup monitoring and reporting for other teams so they can oversee your solutions in real time.
• Be a technical leader and make key technical decisions.
• Help us build, lead and mentor a growing high performance development team.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a full stack software developer.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Expertise in web development and JavaScript frameworks.
• Solid experience with at least one backend programming language, preferably Python.
• Knowledge of microservices-oriented and message-driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS (Cognito, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, ECS, EC2).
• Proficient in Git.
