JS Support Engineer in KLog.co

In order to make this a reality, our Data & BI team works hard to gather, analyze, and present all information that our clients need to visualize their cargo and make data-driven decisions.

We are constantly working to provide our clients with accurate, up-to-date information on their cargo: where is it, when is it arriving, what's the next step. We also provide our clients with data-based advice so that they optimize their supply chain and reduce risks.

We strongly believe that developers are not ticket tackers, but play a key role of our platform's success, taking ownership over whole projects, understanding the underlying business and making sensible decisions.

Work along our JS Engineers to give support to the Customer Success team, fixing day-to-day issues affecting our internal and external customers.
You are responsible to bring issues to resolution and provide feedback to the rest of the engineers on common mistakes, repeating patterns and other information useful for continuous improvement.
You will work inside the engineering team but will have contact with all departments.

In a timeline your job would look as follows:

• Couple of weeks of intense training on logistics by our Sales, Customer, Ops and Finance teams.
• Learn our tech stack and platform (~1 month).
• Pair program with our support engineers.
• Resolve low severity issues.
• Resolve high severity issues and provide feedback.

Depending on your interests and abilities you may take a lead role or switch to a non-support engineering role later on.

We are looking for an experiences but humble team player. The position is open to engineers with +2-3 years of experience.

Verifiable technical skills:

• JS: Well versed on JS and very comfortable with ES6
• React
• SQL
• English (you can read and understand documentation, you can communicate clearly at least in written form)
