DevOps Engineer in Cordada

As an Ops Engineer you will own the technical infrastructure of Cordada. You will be in charge of exciting technical challenges by analysing, troubleshooting, and designing mission-critical services and platforms while always thinking about reliability, security, resilience, scalability, and performance.

• Design, build, maintain and evolve the technical infrastructure of the company.
• Troubleshoot complex, distributed, cross-platform issues encompassing a variety of workloads, from the top layer down to the OS, in cloud-native environments, and handle live production incidents.
• Build and maintain holistic application and infrastructure monitoring, logging and alert systems.
• Conduct system analysis, configuration management and develop improvements for system software performance, availability and reliability.
• Work closely with software engineers to design software and systems that comply with non-functional requirements related to performance, security, and availability.
• Document your system knowledge as you acquire it over time, creating runbooks, and ensuring critical system information is readily available to those who need it.
• Help build an Ops Engineering culture across the organization by sharing your best practices, approaches, documentation and code with the engineering team.
• Help the company follow devops best practices.

• With a major cloud provider (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services or Azure)
• Building and monitoring cloud-native infrastructure for web and non-web high-availability, fault-tolerant Linux workloads running on Kubernetes, with various database engines, object/file storage, caching, messaging/queues, with horizontal and vertical scaling
• Building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and workloads
• Using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferably), Git and scripting languages (Python, Bash or similar)
• Devops best practices

Education: Computer Science Engineer.

• At least 2 years of previous experience with extensive hands-on experience.
• Professional English proficiency.
• Nice to have: experience in the Finance Industry or similar.
