Responsibilities

As a Senior React FrontEnd Developer, you will collaborate with Engineering & Product leadership to build new consumer-facing features, flows, experiments, and infrastructure using React & Javascript.

Collaborate across teams to create, modify, or interface with existing Java/Javascript microservices in our Kubernetes-based cloud environment (on an as-needed basis).
Mentored junior developers and improve engineering processes and overall excellence.
Contribute to maintaining the team's positive, friendly, and fast-paced working environment.
Additional tasks based upon career level at hiring. (e.g. senior or pre-senior)

Skills and Qualifications

- 3+ years of software development experience in shipping modern web applications with React.
- You are dedicated to writing readable, reliable, testable, maintainable, and performant code.
- You’ve earned a degree in Computer Science (or gained equivalent experience).
- You've completed a certification in React development or completed a React Bootcamp (optional).
- Proficiency in writing high-quality, modern Javascript code quickly.
- Proficiency in writing significant portions of mobile applications using React, Redux, and Typescript.
- Proficiency in breaking down and communicating complex concepts clearly and succinctly.
- Demonstrated experience being a strong contributor to (or leader of) substantial front-end projects.
- Some experience creating/modifying/consuming backend systems using Java or a related language (optional).
