We are a fully remote and distributed company and we are lucky enough to have a diverse and multi-national team with team members in the U.S., Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Venezuela.

This SDET will be joining our engineering team, working directly with our lead developers.

Job functions

Your primary focus will be to design and develop quality and reliability related tools, processes and infrastructure to support our development processes.

  • Design the test strategies and lead the development of automated test coverage for functional, integration and robustness testing
  • Design and develop a test framework and tools for Performance, Scale and Load testing
  • Set up test environments using cloud infrastructure
  • Design and develop test execution infrastructure for CI/CD
  • Create clear and concise documentation of the bug reports/feature requests
  • Proactively find ways to improve internal development processes and collaboration
  • Troubleshoot customer reported product Issues

Qualifications and requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in an SDET role
  • Hands on experience with automated backend/API testing
  • Hands on experience with CI/CD systems
  • Hands on dev skills in Python and/or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of JS/python automation frameworks (pytest, Selenium, codecept, etc.)
  • Professional experience setting up cloud test environments and deployment tools
  • Programming and DevOps experience, you need to be very comfortable with the terminal, being able to start, configure and deploy the software
  • Ability to launch and troubleshoot docker packages
  • Empathy towards the users and their problems
  • BSCS, related degree or equivalent practical experience
