Talently (500 Startups W19) is an online program for tech professionals in Latam that helps them hack their way to their next remote job by developing their career, tech and English skills. We do so aligning incentives: participants only pay the program’s full fee once they succeed in getting hired.
What’s the job about?
We’re looking for a driven individual to join our team as a Freelance Tech Learning Expert. The job’s goal is to design our program’s tech track to develop our participants' tech skills in order to get hired! To achieve this goal, you’ll need to perform these and other activities:
Build up on our program’s Tech Track’s curriculum regarding Computer Science fundamentals in cooperation with our PhD CS tech coach.
Design learning content so that our participants hack different tech assessments (coding interview, coding take-home challenges and automated coding tests).
Provide code reviews and feedback on online portfolios such as GitHub, while developing a screening rubric.
Build a repository of HackerRank tests and guides to develop our participants skills.
Develop 1:1 mentorship guides ad-hoc to our participants career needs.
Participate on audiovisual content to instruct our participants.
What we’re looking for?
Experience and education
4+ years of experience in the tech industry.
You have an excellent understanding of the current requirements of tech interviewing standards and assessments such as whiteboarding or system design interviews.
You have expertise in the following topics: Algorithms and Data Structures.
Good English communication skills (writing and speaking).
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and empathy.
Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced and remote environment.
