πŸš€ Your role

You will:

  • Bring new outbound leads using your networks. We expect you to be cold-messaging all over social channels (such as LinkedIn), leveraging your contacts and looking for warm intros. You are tirelessly looking for new business opportunities and don't let a "no" stand in your way.
    • We expect your mix to be 80% outbound / 20% inbound.
  • Qualify leads and close sales on your own. You must develop an eye to detect potential customers and filter out those that are not a good fit. Your intimate knowledge of the product, and your natural curiosity to learn about your customers, allow you to close sales (virtually and occasionally in person) offering them exactly what they need to be successful.Β 
  • Keep the customers you bring in happy. You are constantly in conversation with your portfolio, improving and deepening your relationships. In fact, you will be rewarded not only for capturing new customers, but also for retaining ones you already brought in.
  • Bring insights back to the team. You will learn a LOT while selling β€” and you'll have lots of ideas on how to improve the product to sell better and faster. We will listen to you and prioritize your findings. Sales is not an island in Get on Board β€” it's at the core of what we do.

  • You have a proven track record of at least 5 years selling tech B2B.
  • You are quite familiar with the tech ecosystem β€” You are a power user of technology and have a good grip about how the Internet ecosystem works, and the values and culture of the tech community.
  • You are humble and hands-on β€” You feel totally at home being on the phone, networking in person, cold-approaching customers and spending time with them.
  • You are energetic, focused and self-motivated β€” You fare well under little supervision, set your own goals, organize your time, act fast, never let a deal go stale.
  • You have outstanding communication skills β€” You have excellent writing in both Spanish and English. You are polished but not too stiff, friendly but not too informal.
  • You love feedback β€” Feedback (positive and negative) in Get on Board is direct, honest and no-BS. You take criticism gracefully, without feeling attacked. You don't transfer blame to others. You give respectful, caring, no-BS feedback to others.
  • You have a good network in Colombia β€” You have easy access to buyers, influencers and top decision makers relevant to our product. Your reputation is spotless. You can generate high-quality meetings on your first week.
  • You know your way around CRM software and can help us make the most of it.

  • You have worked for growth-stage startups or tech companies.
  • Your sales experience include SaaS and/or HR/recruiting products or services.
  • Your network includes valuable potential customers outside your home country (the rest of Latam, US, Europe).
