What You'll Do:

Understand the impact of a new feature, generate a checklist plan and provide time estimation.

• Using your product knowledge, you will need to verify some of our interfaces and APIs.
• Report issues found, providing the steps to reproduce, evidence, data used, while performing manual functional, integration, and regression tests.
• Create automated test cases in our internal tool and run them using Jenkins, most of the instructions will need the XPath of each needed component. It will also be necessary to analyze the results and report the possible issues using the specified channels.
• Determines when additional initiative is required to accomplish scheduled work and undertakes it.
• Verifies resolved JIRA issues and maintains accurate status for JIRA issues entered and assigned.
• Teamwork, assists fellow team members and customers with problem reporting and resolution and maintaining appropriate follow-up communications throughout the resolution process.
• Be accountable accomplishing deadlines.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience/knowledge desired.

• 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance required.
• Experience with QA Automation tools.
• Knowledge and experience with API validation testing (using Postman/JSON/Rest client) is highly desired.
• Excellent logic and troubleshooting skills, independently identifying root causes and possible resolutions.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience with issue reporting and tracking tools such as JIRA desired.
• Desire and ability to learn new skills and improve upon current skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish and English) as well as interpersonal skills, with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Ability to comprehend complexity, to fully understand a product with all its business and technological implications in order to become a subject matter expert, and to approach the improvement of its quality from that perspective.
