As the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer, the candidate will be responsible for working closely with product owner of the team along with a cross functional team to design and engineer solutions meeting B2C Commerce requirements. The candidate will focus on engineering and delivering new B2C commerce capabilities.

• Provide Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) technology expertise for solution design and technical implementation
• Design, code, unit test, and code review iterative improvements to platform
• Ensure adherence to sound architecture
• Improving and maintaining engineering guidelines
• Stay current with digital commerce technology
• Drive technical process improvements to site release strategy
• Technical complexity reduction
• Translate business and marketing challenges into well-designed solutions.
• Collaborate cross functional team to determine best path for Salesforce platform implementation.
• Stay in tune with latest Salesforce technology updates, changes, community, and roadmap(s).
• Understand the ins and outs of complex technology environments and know how to optimize solutions for efficiency and simplicity
• Maintain and document processes/procedures and provide seamless hand-off to business users to utilize.

• 8 plus years of programming/systems analysis experience and 3-5 years of relevant experience with emphasis in applications and systems engineering development, database and middleware technologies.
• 5 + years of experience in working with either salesforce customer portal, salesforce marketing cloud, salesforce dot com, salesforce commerce cloud, web services, Apex, SQL, Visual Force, Eclipse IDE, VS Code, Data Loader, Reports and Dashboards
• 3+ years of experience in salesforce commerce cloud
• Experience in Salesforce Administration
• Experience in lighting aura, lightning web components (LWC), triggers, apex class, batch class, lightning components, SOQL and SOSL, build pages on Cloud.
• 3 + years of experience working development, interacting with the client and other vendors; participation & support for UAT, and support release management to the different environments.
• Understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits and Code Coverage
• Solid understanding of Salesforce Standard Objects and Business Processes around them
• Experience with custom integration
• Experience with Salesforce Sites, API Calls
• Working experience in AppExchange App Development and Package Creation
• Ability to identify and apply best practices, standards and SDLC concepts to all functional areas.

• The applicant must have strong communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and organizational skills and the ability to complete assigned work with minimal instruction and supervision
• Having knowledge or project experience in Commerce Cloud adds value to the project.
