Senior QA Engineer in B89

B89 is a neobank, born in Perú. We like to think about ourselves more as Techfin than a Fintech. Software is at the heart of our business model. We plan to expand to other Latam countries, USA and Spain, Based on the principles of Conscious Capitalism, we differentiate from traditional bank by being fully transparent, fair and committed to sustainability objectives, specially the environment. We are focused on two market segments: native digital customers in Latam countries and Hispanic American immigrants in the USA and Spain.

• Work in an agile and multi-disciplinary team that focuses on developing the best banking application on the market.
• Support in the creation of automation frameworks.
• Manage test coverage at all levels.
• Participate in code review of automated scenarios.
• Identify product and business risks.
• Create general testing and automation strategies.
• Apply Agile Testing in the software development process.
• Creation and automation of test scenarios using BDD, TDD and ATDD.
• Challenge the 'status quo' of the team, the company and the market.

• +5 years of experience in software quality and security creating strategies for testing and automating them.
• Experience with UX specification analysis, user stories, development process with BDD, TDD and ATDD.
• Test automation in Web, Mobile, APIs and CORE.
• Experience in creating and executing performance tests with Jmeter, Gatling.
• ISTQB certification.
• Knowledge of Git, Splunk, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira.
• Advanced knowledge of the Java language, Javascript.
• Knowledge of other languages ​​such as Ruby, Python.
• Experience applying Agile Testing.
• Knowledge of integration and continuous software deployment.
• Knowledge of software design patterns / anti-patterns.
• Experience testing database integration (Kafka desirable).
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Intermediate / Advanced / Native English, or
• Intermediate / Advanced / Native Spanish.
