Rol Description

Middleware Admins are responsible for the administration, monitoring, automatization and maintenance of software infrastructures and applications.

As an middleware admin, you'll oversee practices and processes to ensure integrity, safety and availability of all data and applications as part of an organisation's information systems. You'll make sure that the processes needed for a business to function and succeed are running smoothly, acting as a technical point (in the middleware infrastructure vision) of contact to fix application and systems issues - usually on an immediate basis.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of solid Admin experience in managing critical 24/7 applications (mandatory)
  • Good understanding of Datacenter, Networking, Software Development, Release Management, Automation and Testing
  • Applications Servers (e.g. Jboss, Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic) Mandatory
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to production support staff.
  • Knowledge of tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, Terraform, Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipeline (e.g. Jenkins…)
  • Contributions to Open Source projects is an asset
  • Knowledge of Scrum & Agile Methodologies
  • Oracle Middleware Tech Stach (SOA Suite, Weblogic, Oracle Service Bus, etc)
  • Kubernetes and Containers (actually use dockers)
  • Operations Systems (Red Hat, Oracle Linux)
  • Development of components WebServices SOAP y REST (XML, XSD, WS Security, JSON)
  • Java (J2EE, Weblogic, Tomcat, Webpshere)
  • Cloud knowledge support (experience is a plus)
