Funciones del cargo

General Purpose:
Define and execute Payless’ data governance, exploitation, and availability strategy, ensuring transversal use of data across all business areas and enabling advanced analytics for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive Big Data strategy.
  • Build and manage data platforms (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Mesh).
  • Develop data models and advanced analytics (ML/AI) for multiple business areas.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance.
  • Collaborate with business units to leverage data in e-commerce, physical retail, supply chain, and marketing.

Requerimientos del cargo

Technical Requirements:
  • Proven experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Flink).
  • Knowledge of data governance, MDM, and data lineage.
  • Experience with analytical models using Python, R, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
Key Competencies:
  • Analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Leadership in cross-functional projects.
  • Strong communication skills to translate data into actionable insights.

Condiciones

Working Hours: Miami time
Language Requirements: Advanced English and Spanish
Service Type: Service Provision – 160 hours/month, Monday to Friday
