About the Job

Haystack TV is looking for a talented designer to join our fast-growing team in Lima, Peru!

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously across a variety of functional areas including marketing, editorial, branding, and product. This will be an excellent opportunity to work at a fast-growing technology media startup that is reinventing the way consumers watch television news.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with head of marketing to craft digital promotional materials and ads that will run across a variety of digital screen sizes (mobile, web, and smart TV)
  • Enforce our brand guidelines across all our marketing and communication materials and extend them where necessary.
  • Revamp the design of our email templates to drive increased engagement
  • Help create compelling presentation decks to help better illustrate how we are changing the news industry
  • Work with product and engineering to transform basic wireframes into a compelling visual design
  • Collaborate with other member of the design team and provide feedback and critique on video and motion graphics assets

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Graphic Design or equivalent, Masters preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of digital design experience working on banner design and creation of marketing campaign materials
  • Must be able to read/write and speak English fluently
  • Strong communication skills including ability to defend and justify design choices
  • Attention to pixel-perfect detail
  • Excellent knowledge of the Adobe creative suite
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Digital Marketing Design experience (e.g. banner design, creation of marketing campaign materials)

Desirable Skills (but not required)

  • Experience with Product Design or UX a big plus though not required
  • Knowledge of Sketch
  • Use of Prototyping tools like Invision
