Motion Designer / Animator – UI & Visual Design in Stealth Startup

We're looking for a Motion Designer with Interaction design experience to create thoughtful animations, transitions, and micro-interactions that bring our product to life. Your work will enhance usability, guide attention, and add moments of delight throughout the app.

You'll design emotionally resonant motion with a strong focus on in-product animations—from onboarding flows and tab transitions to empty states and button interactions. You'll help define how the app feels and moves.

We're a small, collaborative team that values autonomy, curiosity, and high-quality design. You'll work cross-functionally to shape our motion language while contributing to brand-forward projects across web and mobile. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build design systems that connect animation principles with interaction patterns.

• 5+ years of design experience across digital environments, including brand, product, motion and/or interaction design
• Experience with Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Lottie.
• Solid motion design fundamentals, including timing, easing, flow, and storytelling.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills, including layout, typography, color, and hierarchy.
• Experience with designing for both web and mobile platforms.
• Ability to create motion design, animation, or interactive prototyping.
• Clear understanding of interaction design principles, with a focus on how motion enhances user feedback and experience.
