Back-end Platform Engineer | Cloud and Machine Learning in RH Vision

We are looking for to establish a new AI-driven team in Mexico City focused on enterprise production-ready AI solutions at scale. The Backend Platform Engineer will contribute to building a robust backend platform to support AI-powered expense management for enterprise customers. The role integrates with a US-based product and analytics ecosystem, emphasizing observability, reliability, and scalable infrastructure. The project involves developing AI-driven services and workflows, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, model fine-tuning, and production-grade LLM workflows.
Occasional in-office presence in Mexico City (1-2 times per month) is required to collaborate with distributed teams.Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven services and workflows (agents) for the expense platform with a backend platform focus.

• Implement RAG techniques, model fine-tuning, embeddings, and production-grade LLM workflows.
• Build features such as recommendations, predictions, chatbots for dashboard analytics, and smart receipt generation.
• Ensure observability, testability, and metrics across AI models and systems.
• Collaborate with US-based teams in a fast-paced, enterprise environment to deliver scalable solutions.
• Own end-to-end production readiness: design, implementation, monitoring, and incident response for AI services.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or AWS in production AI deployments.
• Prior experience in expense management or enterprise financial systems.
• Familiarity with observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and GitOps practices.
