The project scope includes creating PoCs, iterating quickly based on feedback, and ensuring robust integration with multiple model providers and data sources. What you'll do

Lead the design and implementation of Generative AI solutions and LLM-driven applications, with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and usability.
Develop and maintain backend services (Python-based) using FastAPI/Flask, integrate with model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), and build supporting tooling (memory, prompting strategies, tools, and evaluations).
Build and orchestrate multi-framework AI stacks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic AI, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, Haystack) and ensure effective observability and monitoring (LLM observability, performance metrics).
Implement RAG pipelines, prompt engineering patterns, and multi-agent systems to solve complex tasks with high autonomy.
Create simple UIs for internal testing and demonstration (Streamlit, Gradio) and collaborate with frontend teams (React/Next.js) when needed.
Drive PoC deliveries within ~2 weeks, then iterate rapidly based on feedback and business value realization.
Collaborate across LATAM time zones with Spanish fluency, maintaining high autonomy, speed, and results orientation.

Required skills and experience

1+ year of hands-on experience with large language models and Generative AI frameworks.
Practical experience with at least two frameworks from the following: LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic AI, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, Haystack, or similar.
Proficiency in Python with backend experience using FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent.
Experience implementing LLM-powered applications (prompting, tools, memory, evaluations) and knowledge of memory management strategies for AI systems.
Knowledge of multi-agent systems and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
Experience integrating with model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
Ability to work on backend tasks and contribute to simple UIs (Streamlit or Gradio).
Fluent Spanish with ability to collaborate within Chile/LATAM time zones.
High level of autonomy, speed, and a results-driven mindset.

Nice to have

Experience with Azure or other cloud deployment platforms.
Familiarity with React or Next.js for frontend integration.
Experience with LLM observability tools (LangSmith, Weights & Biases, Arize/Phoenix, OpenTelemetry).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure.
