Job description

Haystack TV is looking for a business and marketing manager to join our team in Lima, this is a unique opportunity to work at rapidly growing startup in the highly influential TV News industry and learn the ins and outs of the day-to-day business operations of a Silicon Valley startup.

Haystack TV has millions of users, funding, product market fit, profitability, and platform placement next to streaming giants like Netflix and Amazon. If you are a self-starter who might one day create their own business then this is the perfect opportunity for you to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Execute paid marketing campaigns, optimizing for ROI with the use a variety of dashboards.
  • Work with marketing team to constantly experiment and optimize creatives.
  • Monitor and optimize pricing for our ad inventory.
  • Handle processing of accounts receivable and payable
  • Prep and review of monthly and quarterly financial reports
  • Aide in HR and Recruiting
  • Fluency in English is a must!
  • MBA or equivalent hands-on business experience
  • 3+ years work experience
  • Proficient with Spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) including formulas and pivot tables
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, Task Management (Asana/Trello)
  • Experience leveraging data and analytics to drive decisions
  • Willingness to be proactive and take on new responsibilities as the company evolves

Desirable skills

  • Experience with paid marketing campaigns (e.g. Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, or similar) a big plus.
  • Basic Photoshop/Illustrator skills  big plus
