We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our technology team and help build the next generation of data, modeling, and analytics systems that power our U.S. consumer credit investment platform. In this role, you will develop scalable data pipelines, implement ML-driven financial tools, and work closely with quantitative researchers to optimize forecasting algorithms. You will work extensively with Python, Jupyter, Databricks, MySQL, Amazon Batch, and Claude to support large-scale data ingestion, processing, and automation. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, a passion for high-performance computing, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced FinTech environment.
β Develop and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines.
β Build analytical workflows using Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake).
β Optimize and orchestrate large-scale compute jobs using Amazon Batch.
β Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs to support data and modeling workflows.
β Collaborate with the quantitative research team to enhance forecasting algorithms and ML-driven financial models.
β Develop and improve ML-powered financial analytics tools for credit and portfolio insights.
β Integrate internal systems with FinTech platforms and financial institutions.
β Use Claude and other LLMs to support automation, data exploration, documentation, and workflow optimization.

β Solid understanding of MySQL, including schema design, complex queries, and query optimization.
β Experience managing and optimizing batch and distributed compute workloads using Amazon Batch.
β Familiarity with Claude or other LLMs for workflow automation, data exploration, and documentation support.
β Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
β Experience building APIs or microservices in Python.
β Ability to work with cloud-based infrastructures (AWS preferred).
