Responsabilities

  • Architect and develop large scalable infrastructure to deliver personalized video news to millions of users
  • Tackle complex problems and clearly identify tradeoffs between various approaches and techniques
  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Design and implementation of data storage solutions

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong written and spoken English is a must!
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of related professional work experience
  • Experience deploying, scaling and maintaining large-scale DB & Application infrastructure on AWS: EC2, S3, EB, etc
  • Experience with MongoDB and SQL Databases
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Javascript (Node.js) and Python
  • Good understanding of networking and security concepts
  • Strong communication skills No Agencies Please
