Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Backend Developer with solid experience in Symfony (6.x and above) to help develop and maintain high-performance web applications. You will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and maintainable backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize backend features using Symfony.
  • Integrate third-party services and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts and endpoints.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices (PSR, SOLID principles).
  • Participate in architectural planning and DevOps practices (Docker, CI/CD).
  • Monitor production systems and resolve issues proactively.

Qualifications and requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of professional experience with Symfony (v6.x+).
  • Strong command of PHP 8+.
  • Proficient in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Doctrine ORM.
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of version control workflows with Git (pull requests, branching).
  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Familiarity with Docker.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic frontend knowledge (JavaScript/React) for full-stack collaboration.
  • Experience with web security standards (OWASP, JWT, OAuth2).
  • Exposure to MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch.
  • Technical reading comprehension in English (for documentation).
