We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building and maintaining robust, scalable applications to help us continue delivering exceptional service to our clients. As part of AutoRaptor's distributed product and engineering team, you will contribute to a CRM that supports automotive dealer networks with reliable, secure, and scalable software.

Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails.
Leverage modern development tools and AI-assisted coding practices to accelerate feature delivery while maintaining code quality standards.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and implement new features for AutoRaptor's web and mobile platforms.
Maintain and optimize the frontend using JavaScript frameworks and progressive enhancement techniques.
Integrate third-party services (e.g., Twilio, SendGrid, Stripe) to support core product functionality.
Ensure the application's infrastructure (hosted on Heroku and AWS) is stable, secure, and scalable to meet growing demand.
Contribute to database design and maintenance (AWS Aurora for MySQL) for efficient, reliable data access.
Develop, maintain, and enforce code quality and security standards, including static analysis and dependency updates.
Write automated tests and participate in code reviews to maintain a robust codebase.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with mandatory experience in Ruby on Rails.
Familiarity in JavaScript
Familiarity with databases
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing suites, and GitHub pull request workflows.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and motivation to learn.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) and modern development acceleration techniques. Prior work with third-party integrations (Twilio, SendGrid, Stripe) and API-driven services. Knowledge of observability tools, search technologies (ElasticSearch), caching (Redis, Memcached), mobile web app development, and responsive design. Hands-on experience with Heroku. Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) integrations and vehicle data processing.
