Job Details:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Salesforce Developer/Administrator to join our Business Systems team to collaborate on the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform. This hybrid role combines deep technical development skills with strong administrative capabilities to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that meet evolving business needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC), as well as extensive experience with declarative tools such as Flow, along with practical experience working with ERP systems like NetSuite and middleware platforms such as Jitterbit. They should thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment where both technical delivery and user support are essential. A solid foundation in both declarative and programmatic development is expected.

Responsibilities:

Development & Technical Implementation

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Develop and execute test classes and perform unit testing to ensure high code quality and deployment readiness.
  • Support the development and maintenance of integrations with NetSuite and other third-party systems, assisting in configuration and troubleshooting efforts using APIs and middleware tools (e.g., Jitterbit)
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development standards and best practices.
  • Support release management using sandboxes, change sets, and Salesforce release tools.

Administration & Platform Management

  • Manage the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of Salesforce environments.
  • Configure and maintain standard and custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules.
  • Implement and optimize declarative automation tools (Flows, Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Approval Processes).
  • Perform routine system health checks, updates, backups, and data integrity validations.
  • Ensure platform security through proper role hierarchies, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.

User Support & Enablement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for user support, resolving technical and functional issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage data imports/exports and deduplication efforts to ensure high data quality and usability.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide meaningful business insights.

Optimization & Innovation

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Product Owners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiencies; propose and implement enhancements.
  • Stay current on Salesforce platform updates and new features and recommend relevant enhancements for adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years as a Salesforce Admin, Developer, Consultant, or similar
  • 3+ years of hands-on work with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, REST/SOAP APIs
  • Skilled in Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Approval Processes
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and ADM-201 certifications required
  • Strong grasp of security model, governor limits, system architecture
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP (NetSuite) and Jitterbit
  • Comfortable working with U.S. teams across time zones
  • Able to fully own admin tasks: user setup, config, data quality, performance
  • Proven end-to-end ownership: from requirements to deployment
  • Skilled in user support and resolving integration/process issues
  • Proficient in data handling: imports, exports, deduplication, reporting
  • Experience with Jira or similar tools, Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, team player
