Merapar is a European Software consultancy company that specializes in cloud (AWS and GCP), video platforms and IoT that is now also in Chile serve the Americas market. We work in small agile teams and help global video power houses such as BBC, NBC Universal, Liberty Global, Discovery to get software innovations to the market

We are looking for a Senior Python engineer with a great affinity for cloud (AWS) and thing like IaC (Terraform) for a project involving Video an IoT solutions which are used by millions of people

Job functions

Design and implement Python code in AWS based infrastructure.
Work inside Agile teams working collaboratively with other developers
Work almost exclusively in English

Qualifications and requirements

Good level in English. The interviews will be in English
Over 8 years' of work experience
Extensive programming knowledge in Python
Extensive experience in cloud technologies with recent hands-on AWS knowledge.
Proven record of high-quality delivery and related documentation.
Able to take feature and functional requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
Resident in Chile and living in Santiago (we meet once a week to work and have lunch together)

Desirable skills

Experience with ETL, Machine Learning and Databricks is a plus
Experience with video or IoT
