gener8tor is seeking a full-time International Grant Writer to work with our Vice President of Revenue and Global Operations and our Grants Director. This position will be responsible for identifying international funding opportunities, drafting and assembling grant proposals, and managing submissions across a variety of international programs. These include projects focused on scientific acceleration, international development, economic growth, innovation policy, and venture capital.

Responsibilities
- Sourcing new grant opportunities from a variety of countries and sources
- Calendaring out a full year of grant opportunities and deadlines
- Manage record of past, present and future grants applied for
- Assist in the organization of grant information by gener8tor program and other categories for ease of future use
- Draft and assemble grant proposals
- Pull relevant gener8tor program information from past grants and gather up-to-date program metrics
- Research relevant information required for the grant such as demographic information, economic indicators, industry clusters, etc.
- Assist with obtaining grant attachments, including documentation specific to each country
- Assist in seeking grant partnerships in a variety of countries and with a variety of organizations
Requirements
- Strong reading and writing skills
- Past work experience demonstrating strong organizational and communications skills
- Ability to operate in a highly independent work environment with much autonomy
- Strong time management skills and the ability to set and meet strict deadlines
- Strong online research skills. Experience researching funding across a variety of countries is a plus.
- Strong project management skills
- Past work experience with grant writing or grant funded projects
- Past work experience creating budgets for projects or programs
- Past work with international governments, international NGOs, and other civil society organizations is a plus
- Proficiency in Spanish and English is required, proficiency in Italian is a plus
This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to engage with a broad spectrum of grant writing, including international government agencies, NGOs, multilateral institutions, and private philanthropic organizations. The International Grant Writer will also work cross-functionally with program leads, marketing teams, and external partners to support the growth of gener8tor’s global accelerator footprint.
