Service Writer in SailOnyx

The Remote Service Writer acts as the primary point of contact between yacht owners and the marine engineering service team. This role involves managing maintenance requests, creating service documentation, and ensuring clear communication between clients and on-site technicians.
A strong foundation in mechanical or marine engineering, combined with excellent customer service and digital communication skills, is essential.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in marine service writing, yacht maintenance coordination, or mechanical service administration.
• Familiarity with marine propulsion, diesel/gasoline engines, hydraulic, electrical, and cooling systems.
• Excellent digital communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools and service management platforms
• Strong organizational skills and attention to technical detail.
