Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

As Recruitment Operations Lead with a focus on finance roles, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of recruitment and finance operations.

  • Recruitment Operations (80%): Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for accounting and finance positions, predominantly for US-based startup clients.
  • Source and screen highly qualified candidates using LinkedIn and additional sourcing platforms.
  • Conduct detailed interviews to vet candidates, with a strong emphasis on financial and accounting requirements specific to US startups.
  • Present well-vetted candidates to hiring managers, ensuring alignment with client needs and company culture.
  • Drive a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment pipeline, maintaining communication and engagement effectively.
  • Operational Support (20%): Utilize your financial literacy to clarify technical accounting requirements with hiring teams.
  • Assess candidates’ financial competencies alongside recruitment criteria.
  • Maintain and update internal databases of vetted finance professionals to optimize talent matching processes.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure recruitment strategies are optimized and aligned with client objectives. You will be instrumental in refining internal procedures to increase efficiency and candidate quality.

Required Skills and Experience

We are seeking a seasoned Recruitment Operations Lead who possesses strong expertise in recruiting candidates for US companies, especially in contract or 1099 roles. Ideal candidates will have significant experience and knowledge in both recruitment and finance, enabling them to accurately evaluate technical accounting candidates.

  • Experience: At least 3 years of recruitment experience focused on US companies, with a significant portion specializing in accounting and finance roles.
  • Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards; prior experience as an accountant, auditor, or finance associate is a major advantage.
  • Geographic Requirement: Based in Latin America (LATAM) or the Philippines to align with client time zones and work schedules.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously (typically 3 to 5), with attention to detail and deadline management.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative mindset.

We value candidates who combine technical financial acumen with recruitment expertise, allowing them to streamline the hiring process and ensure high-quality matches between talent and client needs. The ability to navigate US-based financial job market requirements and candidate expectations is essential.

While not mandatory, the following additional skills and experiences will enhance your success in this role:

  • Previous direct experience working within US financial startups or exposure to finance teams in fast-growing tech companies.
